Safeguarding Nightlife offers a 3-day blended programme that enables individuals and organisations to acquire the competencies to become a Night Safe Champion Welfare Officer.
The Night Safe Champion is a new role designed to address the safety concerns faced by customers and staff in late-night venues. The role has been created in response to the challenges faced by communities and is aimed at restoring their confidence.
The Night Safe Champion will act as a point of contact and provide support, guidance, and assistance to customers, staff, security, and regulators in the night-time environment. The role has been designed to ensure that people receive the support they need when they are most vulnerable. By addressing the safety concerns, the Night Safe Champion will help to create a safer and more supportive environment for everyone.
SECTOR-BASED WORK ACADEMY PROGRAMME (SWAP)
Working closely with the DWP and colleges around London we are bringing people back to work.
Candidates complete a 2-week Level 3 Events Assistant training programme including music production, events management, DJ skills, artist and brand strategy, as well as NTIA’s introduction to the Night Safe Champion Welfare Engagement Officer training.

Our apprenticeship program, spanning 12-18 months with 1-2 days a month commitment, offers tracks in Events Assistant, Events Assistant (Security), and Hospitality Team Leader, each with the unique Night Safe Champion Welfare Engagement Officer Accreditation.
Tailored to your business needs, the program, through the Night Time Industries Association, provides cost-effective skills, fresh ideas, and strengthens your workforce, benefiting the hospitality and events sectors.

Thankfully, the pub staff recognised his head injury and acted promptly, a testament to how important these types of courses are for venues.
