An update from the International Nightlife Association:
As we recently informed, this year’s competition is more global than ever, with the United States (85), Spain (81), and the United Kingdom (45) leading the charge in nominations. Rounding out the top ten countries with the most venues in the running are Australia (25), Colombia (24), Italy (22), Canada (20), Japan (15), Germany (14), and the United Arab Emirates (13).
Among the most represented nightlife hotspots are Ibiza (17), followed closely by Las Vegas and Dubai (13), London (12), Barcelona and Marbella (11), highlighting the world’s most vibrant clubbing capitals.
In addition, six nations are making their debut in this year’s edition: Albania, Bolivia, Georgia, Iceland, Panama, and Sri Lanka, underscoring the ever-expanding global reach and diversity of the nightlife scene. All nominated clubs are not only striving to secure a place on The World’s 100 Best Clubs™ 2025 list but also aiming for the prestigious Golden Moon Award for The World’s Best Club 2025 that will be awarded to the venue that takes the number one spot on the list.
As you may remember, last year’s awards were announced on social media due to the cancellation of the events because of the DANA in Valencia (Spain) since the events were scheduled to be held there. In the top five on last year’s list, Hï Ibiza (Spain) claimed the top spot as The World’s Best Club 2024, followed by Green Valley (Brazil) in second place and Ushuaïa Ibiza (Spain) in third. Bootshaus (Germany) and Echostage (USA) completed the top five.

50% of Final Score to Be Determined by Jury Based on Strict Criteria Including Programming, Safety, and Sustainability
During the last month of the public voting period, starting October 1st and until November 15th, an esteemed panel of industry professionals will carry out a thorough evaluation of all nominated venues. This expert review will account for 50% of each venue’s final score on The World’s 100 Best Clubs™ 2025 list.
They will evaluate, among other aspects, the evolution of the venues throughout 2025, including their artistic programming and investment in it, security measures implemented to protect both clients and staff, VIP services, the operation and management of online reservations, acoustic quality, soundproofing, sound system and comfort, service quality and customer care, national and international awards and recognitions received, quality certifications implemented, social media presence and reputation, implementation of the MRT system, and the venue’s level of commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
To facilitate the jury’s assessment, all nominated venues will receive an official form to provide supporting information. Each criterion will be scored individually, ensuring a balanced and data-driven final ranking.
The much-anticipated reveal of The World’s 100 Best Clubs™ 2025 will take place at the 10th Golden Moon Awards Gala on November 19th, coinciding with the 10th International Nightlife Congress, happening November 18–19. Stay tuned for the official announcement of the event’s location on June 1st, it’s going to be our biggest celebration yet!
