The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has accused the UK government of “systematically closing nightlife” and failing to provide necessary support to an industry in crisis. This criticism follows the announcement that Rekom UK, the country’s largest nightclub operator, has filed for administration for some of its brands. NTIA CEO Michael Kill expressed deep concern over the continual closures within the sector and called for urgent government intervention.
