The Institute of Hospitality has begun its global search for the Best Hospitality Student Paper 2024, sponsored byPreferred Hotels.
Open to all hospitality students across the world at undergraduate or postgraduate levels and apprentices, the entries can tackle any hospitality subject but must demonstrate a passion for hospitality.
The winner will be announced live onstage at the Institute of Hospitality’s Passion4Hospitality (P4H) event. The largest, free UK hospitality careers exhibition and conference for students, graduates and apprentices which returns for another year to the Novotel London West on 29 November 2024.
Last year’s inaugural winner, Omar Z. Kaysoon from International Management Institute Switzerland, wowed the judges: Howard Field FIH FCA FBHA, chair of the Savoy Educational Trust and Dr Lorna Wang FIH, Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey, with his entry ‘Navigating Post Covid-19 Challenges in the Hospitality Industry: Workforce gaps and implications’.
This year’s winner will receive a range of prizes including having their paper published in the Institute of Hospitality’s global Magazine, a year’s IoH membership, a £250 Amazon Voucher sponsored by Preferred Hotels, public recognition of their achievement and much more.
To take part, students must enter their paper by 9 am (BST) on Friday 25th October 2024. All shortlisted entries will be notified in advance and must be available to attend the P4H event in London on 29th November 2024.
