International Professional Security Association (IPSA) has launched its own podcast series dedicated to frontline security officers recounting their experiences in their roles, the first-of-its-kind for the security industry.

‘The Frontline (where the ordinary is extraordinary)’, hosted by Amanda Cora Randall CQP MCQI, MSyl, will highlight and celebrate the acts of bravery, courage and humanity of the industry’s frontline officers and the many unacknowledged stories throughout the industry. The podcast will enable these experiences to be communicated in a format accessible to the wider public, helping to grow awareness and appreciation of the frontline and the Industry as a whole.

Episode one features IPSA’s Frontline Ambassador, Abdullah Tanoli, who is best known for his actions in thwarting a near fatal stabbing of a tourist in Leicester Square, in August 2024.

Satia Rai, CEO, IPSA, said:

“The most important people in our sector are the ones on the frontline. Security officers are the heartbeat of our industry and giving them a voice, listening to their stories, learning from their experiences and standing beside them is how we grow, evolve and do what’s right for our people.”

Amanda Core Randall, host of The Frontline, said:

“Our frontline officers deserve to be recognised as there is too little knowledge out there that highlights the value to our daily lives that security professionals bring, not to mention the many acts of bravery in the face of adversity they face on a day-to-day basis. The Frontline podcast aims to bring these stories and experiences to a wider audience.”

The Frontline is broadcast every second Wednesday and is available on the IPSA website and on YouTube.
