Over 12,000 security companies across the UK are receiving letters from HMRC this week as part of a major drive to tackle exploitation, fraud and tax non-compliance within the Private Security Sector.

With increasing scrutiny on the requirement for PAYE, National Insurance, and employment status, security firms must become tax compliant over the course of the next 4 months (August 2025) or risk facing serious scrutiny.

  • Avoid scrutiny or penalties
  • Review your tax & employment status compliance
  • Stay ahead of HMRC investigations

If your business has received a letter, it’s important that you act. Please see the letter below! There is a four month window to become compliant.
