A report reveals that 65 UK nightclubs have closed in 2024, with three shutting every week, exacerbating a nightlife crisis. The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) warns that the closure rate is accelerating, jeopardising jobs, culture, and community. Yorkshire is one of the hardest-hit regions, losing 45% of its clubs. The NTIA is urging the government to provide immediate support to prevent further losses and preserve the UK’s nightlife scene.
