THE SKIDDLE SUMMIT AIMS TO PROVIDE FREE RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE WORKING IN EVENTS AND THOSE ASPIRING TO BREAK INTO THE INDUSTRY

Ticketing platform, Skiddle, has announced a two day free event, consisting of panels and webinars, to help industry figures learn more about planning and implementing music, food/drink and football events.

The Skiddle Summit, taking place on 27th & 28th May, will be an opportunity for those working in music and events to join together to learn, reflect and experiment new ideas following a difficult year for the industry.

All online events are free to attend and each one will feature a panel of event promoters and live industry experts sharing their unique insight in event management. Topics discussed will range from marketing basics and running a successful event from start to finish, to festival bookings and securing brand partners.

With all events taking place online via Zoom, the Skiddle Summit is aimed at venue owners, artists, management, promoters and aspiring or established event organisers across music and lifestyle sectors in the UK.

Ben Sebborn, Co-founder of Skiddle said: “The music and events industry has been heavily impacted due to COVID-19, so we wanted to create a series of events that would not only be accessible to everyone, but to also allow those in the industry to learn from others, connect and network.

“Whether you’ve been in the industry for years or are just at the start of your career, the Skiddle Summit is a great chance to learn something new, feel inspired and make new industry connections at a time when it’s needed most.”
