New NHS staff testing service available to businesses for free. Read more below:

“We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new scheme at NHS Test and Trace: We Offer Testing To Our Staff, a simple and free voluntary scheme for businesses offering regular weekly testing to their staff.

The scheme is open to those who have signed up for workplace testing and offer a minimum of two tests a week to their employees. They can now access the digital branding to display on social media, websites and customer-facing areas like storefronts and checkouts by visiting our online platform.

The scheme is designed to complement, not replace, your existing workplace testing plans and is entirely voluntary. It offers encouragement to your staff and aims to boost the take-up of testing amongst employees, reminding them of the benefits of testing and showing you are going above and beyond to protect their safety in the workplace.

As part of a nationally recognised scheme, displaying either a physical and/or virtual sticker offers employees and customers greater reassurance and confidence that participating firms are going above and beyond their safer workplace legal duties, to improve the safety of their premises for their staff and customers.

We have also created easy-to-read guidance (attached) for you and your employees with answers to the most common questions.

Around 1 in 3 people with coronavirus show no symptoms, so anyone could be spreading it without knowing. Regular testing helps identify staff who are carrying the virus without displaying symptoms, reducing the risk of transmission.

If you have any questions or would like to speak more on this please contact myself and/or Mark Harrop.”
